No matter how
difficult life can be at times, God reminds us in His Word that all things are
under his control. In Romans 8:28 we read: “that in all things God works for
the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
What an encouraging verse for our clients and staff to remember. God is working
through us as we focus on loving Him. When our eyes fall from his face then we
will slide back into worry and concern over things for which we have no
ultimate control. We may fret about wayward children, rising prices for food,
where to find a job and other of life’s concerns. This all arises from our
failure to look to Him for direction, encouragement and peace.
Working with our clients today gives our staff the opportunity to demonstrate
our faith and trust in God through these difficult times. When we help them
pray and trust God in our daily walk they begin to see His hand of provision
during their stay with us. This living witness will impress upon them the real
nature of God and his presence in our lives.
By trusting in Him we will all be reminded of His ever-present nature and love
for us. We pray that God multiplies your offering to us to His glory and for
the benefit of the men, women and children we reach out to each day.
