God gives us each day what He knows we need. Not only us
individually but us as a community and as a nation. In Jeremiah 14:22 the
prophet says: “Do any of the worthless
idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No,
it is you, O LORD our God. Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the
one who does all this.” What a great reminder of God’s ever-present
goodness to us and our greatest hope in our daily life.
Hope is one of the greatest gifts we can share with our clients. Having been
lost in a world of selfishness, sin and disappointment, our clients are
beginning to find hope in the promises God has made with His people. Through
the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our clients are beginning to understand and
experience the freeing power of Christ in their lives. No longer are they
grumbling about what they have lost or left behind in their lives. Hope is
springing up within them and helping them live in faith as they allow God to
fulfill His purposes in their daily lives here at the Mission.
Together we are
bringing this hope to the lost. Together
we are providing them a glimpse of a new and exciting future as they anticipate
what God has in store for them. May God bless us all as we walk in faith with
Him.
